Can you post a picture of what you're looking at? The base of the sensor should be brass, so a bit of heat from a propane torch should help to loosen it.

There is one other location possible, of course it would need to drilled out and tapped. But with Zero info about your truck in your sig AND profile. it's kind of hard to help. Please add ALL the info about your truck to both of said areas. Thanks.

i have a 2001 dak V6 3.9 stock, auto trans, 4.1 gear, 8.25 dana/spicer locker 84852. i took the manifold temp fitting out and made a controller to send a false signal to the computer. it didnt seem to help. so i just set the temp fitting on top of the thermostat MPG went up 1 point. but i think at WOT max RPM it might be pinging a little.

ok so i am trying to do this with least amount of taking apart the engine but seems like everything, wires hoses are in the way of getting straight shot at broken sensor. if i decide to plug hole and relocate sensor is there a certain bolt type i should use

Move the A/C compressor out of the way, remove the alt, remove the bracket they bolt to. Gives you nice easy access.
