Blown plenum, and failed pre-cat O2 sensor.

My 360 in my 3/4 ton truck gets around 12-14 around town, and 15-18 on the freeway.

Probably cuz you don't sound like you know how to keep your foot out of it lol. No offense meant lol...

A 440 is just purely bound to get poorer fuel economy. A carb will just get worse. It's very hard to get a perfectly tuned carb. If you do go carb I'd go with a street demon. On the dodge I went from getting a fairly consistent 19MPG on the stock 360 to 12.5MPG on the carb'd 318. More power means more fuel burned...

Edit: HeyYou hit it right on. Also these dodges like to eat tune up parts too...

Ha that's what I'm thinking it prob needs a tune up bad. Dad never really did it Bc it was his back up truck to his 6.5 turbo diesel.

But it's a 2000 2500 ram with the 360. I say the intake gasket is blown like u said but it don't really show any signs of it. But then again idk what the signs would look like haha.

But thanks to all you guys I'm debating whether or not to turbo it or not now.... Haha u guys opened my mind up a lil more to it all ha may do some more research and see what I come up with.

I have plans on doing a tune up when Summer comes around. Besides the usuall plugs rotor cap oil and plug wires is there anything else I should check/clean? Ha it has 186k as I said and hard to tell when last tune up was

For a daily driver, a slightly warmed 360 is actually pretty good. Go with new heads, better cam, open up the throttle body, and a good, free flowing exhaust, coupled with an SCT tuner, and you will LIKE driving it. Probably cheaper than turbos too.

Kinda Off topic: Many a time I have pulled a small block out of a boat and replaced it with a big block and the big block got better mpg than the small block ever did or would. Cubes man cubes.

Ha for the exhaust I still want headers. Turbo or not and most plp say u shouldn't but I'm putting stakes on it. And yes ik it's a gasser. I just love the looks of stacks.

But I say all I'll do if I decide not to turbo is headers, valve springs, maybe pistons, a cam+lifters. Maybe a lil more

Try this link it should take you there.

It's a Mopar and I like to use Mopar performance parts whenever possible. This is not cheap at all and not for everyone.

I went with Mopar's adjustable 1.7 roller rockers and they cost about $550 for the set.

The Mopar valve covers are needed to work with the taller Mopar RR's and they cost about $200
