I would install the clutch position switch for safety reason's, don't want it starting in gear.

Must be a Jarhead thing because us Army guys are smart enough to push in the clutch before trying to start a rig. ;-)

Personally I always hated those safety switches. But I grew up driving a clutch and all my rigs were too old to have a dummy switch in them. I am not a fan of having my vehicle think or drive for me. I want to do all those things.

Hmm, you can always forbid dip*****s from driving your truck lol. It may be just me but I personally am quite picky about who drives my truck. I'd hate to get a new clutch friction disc in and let someone drive it who is not good with a stick. And that is just the more common and cheap things the manually un-skilled can do.

Actually last fall i watched a young kid almost run over his friend while getting a jump.
He had the car in gear and when he tried to start it, luckly he missed her and his car darted right into her's. She was not happy with the new dent in her car or the fact that he almost ran her over.
Accidents happen.
P.S mine is stick it has no switch either. SEMPER FI!!!

I need help or ideas to get my clutch master to clear my brake booster I'm taking my auto out and putting in a stick, are the brake boosters different from a auto to a stick? And FYI I got everything but the pedals out of a 01 dodge ram 1500

Many years ago my ex-wife (she was just a GF then) almost ran over me when I was working on her rig. I had my head under the front and told her to start it. Well she was use to my Toyota PU and her Scout was in gear. When she cranked it you know what happened and she almost hit me. After a 5 minute a$$ chewing she never made that mistake again. I know what they are for but I think instead of dumbing up our rigs we should be teaching people to be better drivers. Kinda like the military going to the 3 round burst instead of full auto on the M16. Teach proper fire control instead.
Off my soap box...............
