Maybe hell I only get paid every two weeks, and I just got paid and I'm already out of money and hope I have enough for gas till I get paid not this Thursday but the next... Until then I can just do my wiring for my reverse lights and ground the neutral safety switch so I can start and run my truck, and all of that kind of stuff, and I still have to get a pilot bearing and clutch master, I already bought the manual pedals from a guy on here and should be in by wednesday so I can go ahead and get them in and all of that and start putting the dash back together then, but I'm hoping by that Thursday I'll have it done and back on the road or a few days after that Thursday anyway.....

Well today I got the auto out and got the flex plate off, and while installing my pilot bearing I noticed both of the freeze plugs that are on the back of the block looked to have leaked alittle and might fail if I don't change them so I'm going to has to change them and also found my oil leak so I also have to change my oil pan gasket, is it a whole piece or is RTV used on the back there the pan is shaped for the crank?

One piece gasket. Gotta drop the pan. Clean it out while you are in there, and have a look at the oil pump pickup as well.

Changing the freeze plugs while you are in there is a very good idea.

That's what I'm going to have to do.... But I'm going to do it right and not half *** this swap.. I'll try and get pictures of the bad parts and see what y'all say, I mean the cap and button needed changing and the crank sensor end was gone and it was cracked on top of that. So idk how it was running at all much less as good as it was!

Got the flywheel bolted on today and I have to replace my leaking oil pan gasket and since I'm going to have it off I'm going to replace my oil pump and sending unit since they take a few seconds to build oil pressure, and when I had taken off my oil filter it was only half full of oil so the new pump will fix that and will get me better oil pressure back to where it's supposed to be! But I'll get pics up zoo or at least a link to the album, would that work for you guys? Honestly?

We'll today I'm supposed to be getting my pedals I'm going to get them installed and get the inside of my truck put back together! Then it's on to installing a new oil pump then getting it all put in! Only thing I'm going to have to move or modify will be the transmission mount so yea, and are the brake boosters the same on an auto and a manual dakota? Just curious, but I have to get a master cylinder then get that in and get everything bolted back up!!!! It's coming together slowly but surely!
