1994 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT V10, Production numbers?
I am having a difficult time, getting any info from Chrysler Dodge, No one can seem to help me out. I have a 1994 Dodge Ram V10, 5 speed, Dana 80 rear, 2 WD .I was told when I bought the truck that this was a rare combination in 1994. Less than 500 made.. can somebody please let me know How I can find out the actual production numbers? I have contacted the original dealer, Chrysler, Dodge, and nobody can be bothered to help me out. Thank's Larry

Thank's for the replies.. I didn't think it would be so difficult to tell how many were made. I E-mailed Chrysler dodge. They told me their computers only went back 10 years, on the production numbers. I have seen the truck with 4 wheel drive, V10 5 speed, none in the 2 WD. haven't even been able to find any 94 v10 2WD. with this combo.. Thanks

Magnum or viper v10? A 94 proto type "vts" ram was built with a viper motor. More info would be nice. I doubt this was made by Chrysler. The front bumper is aftermarket and no longer produced(to the best of my knowledge). How do i know? Because i found who originally made them because i wanted to put one on my indy. The the bed cover and side ground effects where optional on some of the trucks. I think this was dealer made. I am aware of most of the rare trucks that where made from that time. Indy, SS/T, VTS, and the 95(Don Garlits version made by mark III). Can you post a pic of the options sticker under the hood? This will tell you what it left the factory with! Anything else that is on the truck was added after that. Also what it on the front of the doors? looks like some kind of emblem?

@Moparite,I am aware of the VTS, designed by Bob Lutz . It is a Magnum V10. I am just trying to find out how many of the V10 magnums, 2 WD 5 speed with a Dana 80 were produced in 94 I believe this was a pretty rare combo for that year, but haven't got any actual numbers. Thanks for the leads.

Moparite, Thank's for your help.. I just was told by the previous owner, and the guy he got the truck from, their were less than 500 produced. I would say doe's this sound plausible? Estimated 2,500 5 speed combo's, and with the 2 WD, and options this could bring it down to the 500? I had emailed the original dealer it was sold, Not even a reply, Dodge gave me a build sheet, said they can only go back 10 years on production numbers. That Mark worman from GYC, couldn't even acknowledge me. I Told him, I guess he wasn't the MOPAR man he claimed to be... LOL He deleted me... Searched other Forums... Nothing.... I figured somebody from Chrysler can find the number produced, They just can't be bothered... Thank's for your Time... If you have a number, or e-mail that you think would help.. Let me know..The actual numbers will verify if the truck is rare, or not so much. 2,500 is quite a few made.. Thank's
