Do this when cold: Park it up hill or on a curb so the radiator cap is as high as possible. Remove cap, run truck until it warms up completely. Bubbles should work their way up and out.
so i went out and did that( got a few bubbles out of it ) but the top hose is hot, heater hoses are hot and the lower hose is cold ? Bad water pump maybe ?
How long did you run it? Take it on the highway for a drive. The higher rpm will work out any air left in it. The upper rad hose is hot so the t stat is opening, May still have some air left in the system. If you drill a small hole in the t stat this will allow the air out after you fill it.

This is exactly how it should work. Nothing is wrong.
