I'm getting ready to buy a project truck. Rough but needs tore apart and redone completly. I want a cummins 5 speed thou. I have a showroom condition 94 360 auto....Had less then 40k miles when I got it. It was garage kept and maintance records. 1 owner. So I've owned a few gen 2s.and I'm starting to learn to work on them. So time for major project. Performance upgrades and body work. And custom bumpers and light bars. Rims tires lift. The whole works and lots of money. Post us some updated pics as you go. A never really liked red dodges. Too many of them. They look great on charcoal colors.

Couldn't locate the wire off hand but got the intake manifold off to find something more strange there is a metal tube running off the back with no home it was just laying back there from what I could tell

Should go down to the exhaust manifold.... and there should be a valve sitting at the back of the intake there, just above where the pipe went in. Otherwise, you have a serious vacuum leak, and loud exhaust....

Check the back side of the passenger manifold, see if the pipe is still there, or if it has been plugged, folded over, whathaveyou..

You can get a plate, (egr block off plate) and cover the holes in the back, but, PCM may set codes for EGR..... or not. It's a crap shoot.
