01 Ram 4x4 leaking front diff fluid out of new axle seal
Hello,
i recently installed a new axle seal on my passenger side. TWICE, and it is still leaking. I filled the diff till it came out of the full hole. I have heard of only
filling it till about 1/4” below the fill hole. Could it possibly over filled? I used 80w-90 and made sure that the vent tube was not blocked. I also bought a custom tool for $85 that claimed to seat the seal perfectly. I’m beside myself on this one.
Thanks!

I’ll wake up and see a some oil on the tire. I know it’s not residual because I completely cleaned out the axle tube. I drove to work today and It didn’t seemed to leak.
