I finally found your missing sway bar's brackets in the pic and, when I see the high mount stabilizer, altogether with the rust and wear, it is pre-98. The easiest tell is the sway bar end link brackets. That A or hoop on each knuckle was removed in 98.

T steering is one of those beaten horse topics. Seriously, just google search and you'll read for days. Basically, it is more solid and secure with bigger parts as well. Closest thing to crossover we can get over the counter.

Need to know what year your axles are to convert to T steering. Also, if you are going to swap them out.... don't bother till you have the new axles under it. Then, its just a matter of buying the right parts. (and there are listings in various threads around here for that.) I have the T steering on my 98, but still have a fair bit of slop because of it. I just haven't tried to address it yet. (after owning it for more than a year.......)

The junkyard lied to me then was suppose to be 4.10 axle ratio but I doubt that now to. I'll have to check when I chance the diff fluids. What does the sway bar mounts look like on an 01?

Yeah I removed the sway bar for more articulation off road and I had to weld that bracket on the frame for the steering stabilizer

The old style has the link mounted above the sway bar with the new version the bar is above the link. The mount is a nice little knuckle extension on the front so the link mounts vertically and the bar sits horizontally (when looking at the tire). The old design is just weird. Just search for pics of dodge steering and you'll find it. I've only been staring at these pics for over a dozen years. And as far as the year, who really knows? It might have swapped into the donor truck that you got it from. The stabilizer mount also was moved below the tie rods and track bar.
