Hhhhmmm.... Looking at the wiring diagrams, it really doesn't show if the governor pressure solenoid wants 5 volts, or 12...... If it wants 5, and is getting 12, that would likely annoy the PCM, but, if it wants 12....... it *should* be perfectly happy.
Your alternator isn't over-charging is it? (higher than 15 volts??)

When I was in the service, I was stationed at K. I. Sawyer Air Force base in Michigans upper peninsula. Mosquitoes there were terrible..... I once saw two of 'em that had a deer down.... They were debating whether to eat him there, or take him home. They decided to just eat him there, as if they took him home, the bigger ones would take him away.

hahaha. Good one. Skeeters are pretty bad down here in SWFL, too. Well, I check the volts on the alternator and it’s reading 13.6 volts. I‘m thinking there’s still a short somewhere in the wires? 😭
