The reason I was suspect of the pump was because I herd it making some wild sounds after I first topped it off and I didn’t know you wasn’t suppose to just fill it up and crank the truck and when I’m standing still the wheels still hard to turn but now it’s even and in both directions

I used P/S fluid..... Dodge can't seem to make up their minds on which fluid they want you to use.

When I was trying to do the pump on my daughters car, I went thru three pumps before I got one that actually worked. The first two just didn't build any pressure at all, brand new out of the box, the third one kinda worked, but HOWLED, no matter what I did. Fourth one actually worked, and was quiet enough that I didn't condemn it out of hand. (though still louder than I think a NEW pump should be.) Part quality has declined dramatically the last few years....... Considering how far I have to drive to get parts, I seriously considering buying three of what I think I need, so I *might* get ONE that worked.........
