Was the old radio the Infinity version?

if you got no sound from the replacement radio, double check the fader & balance settings. Its output might be damaged or you have bad spkr connections....or 4 bad spkrs. in addition to the 1st radio that died.

If your truck was originally equipped w/Mopar radio, new 2-wire spkrs are PNP.

If originally equipped w/Infinity radio, its 4-wire speakers have external amps attached; therefore, new 2-wire spkrs are not PNP. An amp & crossover are required unless you replace the radio with one having an internal amp, say...27 or 52 watts x4 channels (your recent replacement?)
