Default Help identify things in 96 2500 10Cyl engine

The main things are there’s a tube with suction coming from behind the carb block out and the closets connection to it I can find is this “T” connection of tubes with one side cut. The next thing is this black solenoid behind the drivers headlight. Is this the purge solenoid?

The highlighted part is the tube coming from the back of engine. The arrow is the “T” connection

First one is a vacuum line. Lines go everywhere under the hood..... where that particular one plugs in, I am not entirely sure.

The thingy (technical term) under the battery tray is the cruise servo. It needs a vacuum source to work.

It looks like someone removed a bunch of vacuum lines from that fitting. There should be several inline with that T fitting.

Its most likely going to you speed control unit. And if you are hearing a whistle sound from the engine, Replace the intake manifold gasket if you have a V10 engine. This was a common problem.

Default Whistling from engine

so I actually found the source of the whistle it’s a tube coming from the top back side of the engine near the passenger valve cover when I cover the tube the engine stalls out and dies. Is this tube supposed to be left cut or is it supposed to attack to something else?

Default Prev owner put in work cutting& disconnecting things

Thankyou for posting a picture of yours, I’m gonna have to find a vacuum diagram to put this back together because I have no idea where things go.
