can you set temp with an SCT handheld?
Nope. Need software that allows you to read, edit, and write from/to the PCM. HP tuners software will do it, but, that's like 600 bucks for a ONE vehicle license.

So back to the same issue. Boutta swap back to 195. Too many complications with that right now. Def not paying 600$ for a tuning software at the moment lol

That is certainly the least expensive route. Might be the best as well.... The PCM expects that 195 stat, and that's what it's tuned for.

You can add a resistor to the wire on the temp sensor to fool the pcm to think it's running a 195.

Omg I just remembered, if I remove my stock shroud where do I put my reservoirs ? LOL. I totally forgot about that. I’m doing the Dual Fan one and I wanted to do it this weekend but I think I might have to wait now. I don’t have a shroud or know how or where to mount the tanks

Guys, it’s beginning to fail on me lol. As I said, the top was already terribly broken, it just finally gave out. I drove 2 hours to hangout with a friend I haven’t seen in a while. Found this when I got there, wasn’t there before. I got home okay today. It’s not fixed. Going to buy the 3 row and shroud on eBay this Tuesday.

Keep in mind the oem radiator has a 1 inch thick "row" so you need at least 3 X .333 to equal the stock radiator. Have seen them advertised as "3 row" and each tube is about a 1/4 inch witch is less cooling that stock. Also be sure to count the rows, Aftermarket radiators rarely ever have the same amount as stock usually less(same with heater cores).

Hello! It’s 0.57in per row. A total or 1.71in or so the seller says

Do you have a link? I know someone makes one similar to that but it's $300

I and I think most people on the forum use shrouds by companies such as TCP Performance which hold dual 16" fans. Not sure if TCP sells just the shroud these days as they seem to want to sell the whole kit on their website. Though I think there are probably plenty of options on ebay.

Back in my day they didn't have anything cool like this or I probably would have this instead of what I have now....This might not be a bad thing for someone like you.....https://www.ebay.com/itm/18557221230...Bk9SR5jEnvTIYQ
