Shake/vibration in seat 45 mph

No shaking without shaft...I believe I am going to have the driveshaft balanced and probably replace tailshaft bushing and seal while it's out.

The bushing gets a little funky, check moparman1973 threads (search the web) for some tech. The casting numbers on your tailshaft housing can help you know which bushing you need.

I tried putting the driveshaft in 180 degrees out from what it has been and the shaking was at least as bad, but moved to starting about 50 mph were it had been starting closer to 35.

Just clocking the shaft doesn't really make any difference.....

Likely something related. The shaft is still spinning in the same plane it was before, and there was no vibration with it absent. Of course, nothing in the rear diff was turning either.....

The front axle isn't going to cause these symptoms in 2 wd right?
