Default 96 dodge wiring harness

I have a 96 dodge 360 in this 34 dodge 2 ton. I am using the wiring harness from the 96. I have the 96 online manual with the wiring diagrams but have two plugs that don't seem to show in the manual.

First appears to have bolted to the dash and the second one (white) I think is for the trailer brake plug. Thanks for any help.

First one is likely the OBD port, and yep, it bolts under the dash.

Second one though.... I thought the trailer brake connector was blue..... and it should be INSIDE the cab.... but, its dodge, so, ya just never know.

Thanks, the second one is inside of the cab and I agree as I thought the trailer brake connector was blue. I am just stumped on that one.

Get it all put together, and running, and see what doesn't work.

The obd port has 11 wires going to it.

The black connector is for the buzzer module, the white one appears to be for the trailer brake controller but they are typically blue. Wire colors on the second one might help.

Edit: This thread shows a white connector in a '96: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...he-dash-2.html

Bingo. I just found the first plug to be the buzzer control module. I hope I don't need something plugged in this to make things work. Thanks very much for the info on the trailer brake plug. At least that is solved. This is a fun project and it has taken a very long time.
