Its not summer yet lets wait and see what happens with these... until i see some 1 get 16 mpg city like i do i keep the stock on...with A/C running 15 city.....
You suck. Wtf do you get on the highway. You are now official poster boy for Why Horespower Doesn't Matter. Your timing is good too. My bud up at the local gas and repair saysregular willhit 3/gallon within two weeks.
HA HA ...LOL..... what im doing is trying to use the most HP with very little pressure on the pedal. At 50 mph im using 1100 rpm. instead of the truck shifting at 2000 rpm letting it do it at 1800 rpm. plus letting it roll when i can plus the norm stuff not taking off from stop ...and not comming to a complete stop at a red light "backing off" waiting for green....this does not work with every body. but i can let the truck pull me up a slight grade in OD at 50 mph at 1100 rpm and never down shift let the TQ pull you.. Last summer i saw 18 mpg highway.....So now i avg 300-325 per tank ..using 19-22 gallons.. soon ill do a total and give you all what it cost per mile to run my truck.. be intresting....

13.3 is about the best I've ever seen....[:@]I have been using only BP or Shell gas in mine for the last 3 weeks or so, due to having pinging issues with the other gas we have here. Where I live and my commute to work is not conducive to being "easy on the pedal". You have to keep up with the traffic or you get run over. I'm not one to drive the speed limit anyway. I go through a tank a week. I'll see next week if my 13.3 was a fluke or if the open air cleaner is really making a difference.
Our gas went up to $3.18 last week for reg - it's back down to $2.97 now.

Ok the results are in... 14.0 MPG!!. In the year of owning this truck i have NEVER gotten anything over 13. I'll keep an eye on this but this tank was with more than usual city driving, 65-70 on the freeway, and i'm not one to take off slowly.Oh by the way Gas is 3.39 here in Milwaukee[:@]

OK guys, my testing results are in:

I was getting about 10 MPG before any work on my truck, but I knew I had a bad cat. I did this intake mod and put a free flowing cat and new flowmaster muffler on and a tune up and I'm impressed. After the PCM relearned I've gotten 14 MPG on the last three tanks of gas give or take .25 MPG! I'm running 93 octane and I'm no more light footed than I've ever been. Any one with a clogged cat would greatly benefit from replacing it IMO after this.

I've noticed that some of us are missing the weatherstip that runs across the back of the engine bay over the air filter.
I'm going to the dealer to buy mine tomorrow.

Well I went this route for now, a little noisey, but an improvment.
Mopar valve covers, breather and other stuff coming soon.
