Yeah, the SC schedule is a big secret.

Are you guys leaving the custom user shift schedule on all of the time? I thought I read you guys, jkeaton & Rengath, didn't leave it on? I have all my stock settings recorded, which are different than both of yours, but I still never loaded up my user shifts. I'm just happy with the SC shifts I guess.

I leave my shift schedule on all the time. It's great!! Holds all gears longer if I hold it down, or I can make it shift when I want it to by letting up slightly, I acts like a manual in that way. Shifts when I want it to, not when it wants to.

I think I may just revert to stock shift schedule with a minor change to 1-2, 2-3 and TM at ... 8%? I'm at 10% now but I really don't feel much difference from the SC default. Should I bump to 12%? i dunnos.

I just got my Superchips in the mail..Installed the 87 Octane tune and took it out for a quick drive. Truck shifted like I always wished it did and it just felt so much more powerful in general. I legit took it around the neighborhood though, revved it up to 5900 rpm's (because I can now :P) and then went back in the driveway..DINNER TIME! Will post more feedback after driving it tonight..

honestly the tow tune is very close to the shift schedule I did but mine holds it longer in first gear.

I'll have to give it a shot..is 87 octane okay to run with the tow tune? I will get into the transmission package this weekend..maybe even do one of the shift schedules you guys posted. Just want that torque management down anyways!

he's using the tow tune. I used the tow tune with 87 octane and did not have a problem with it. I just did not like the shifting as much as theone I did. Personal preference.

Thanks brother..I'm trying the tow tune tonite, is it any good on the highway though? I liked the feeling of the 87 tune on my commute to school today. I'm not as quick off the line as pretune but I love how rpms don't fall going up hills
