The truck Dodge should have built
Hydraulic.
I have tried a couple of different sized slaves but its either not enough throw with a large bore slave or too stiff of a pedal with a small bore long throw slave.
We are trying a power assist this week.

what slave system are u running? is it one from a ram?
BTW... awsome project!!!! i almost did a conversion to my 08 with either a mechanical 4bt cummins, or a john deere 4.5L but just couldnt work up the courage to start hacking into a brand new truck with very low miles, but urs is awsome, keep up the good work!

Hey Dodgetrucker 75, I love that front bumper. Don't suppose you have the CAD sheet metal file for it?
The bell housing is Isuzu so the Ram slave was not going to work.
I did try a few combinations but today we got the power assist working and it's AWESOME!!
Its a vacuum assist for the clutch pedal just like a vacuum booster on the brakes.
Basically a remote power assist system. The Dakota Master applies pressure to the booster which doubles the pressure and applies it to the salve.
The pedal still has a nice firm feel to it but not enough that my wife cant drive the truck.
They were common as aftermarket power brakes systems for English cars like Triumphs, Morgans and Mini's.
The FCM went back to Florida today for reprogramming so the truck is off the road again for a week or so.
Should give me time to tidy up some of the loose ends.

I think that hinged brushguard is amazing.

I can either modify my cad drawings (it was created for an '06), or create a new one if you send me a few dimensions. Just send me a PM, or FB me @ Frank Vogel.
The 3d renderings in this thread at the top are not the same as what i have now. the cardboard cut outs is 90% like what i am gonna make. Ill try and get an updated model of what i am making.
I have all of my parts designed, but i am just waiting on the $300.00 to have the pieces laser cut and bent. I will say that what i have for my truck, sticks way the freak out there. If i make another one, ill try and cut it back 2 inches.
Cant wait to see the finished product.
I have a lot to do before I can start a front bumper, maybe in the fall.
Eventually my wife is going to catch on that the bank account is getting smaller and the truck is getting bigger. ;>)
