very nice dyno day
well gang, just got back from dyno day, marty did a great job with the sct tuning, 499 got me three tunes. a nice street tune, like what superchips does, but better, a real aggressive street tune for the fri and sat, street racing, and the beloved nitrous tune. we did not run the nitrous just the street and aggressive tune. i need to get a mini controller for the nitrous. because right now it activates at wide open throttle. the controller will gradually give it nitrous and fuel upon take off and once it gets going will start to dump more. now here is the bad news, 283 at the rear wheels with martys aggressive tune. i have videos and slips to post. when the nitrous is set up. marty guarentees another 100 horses. i cant complain.

Are the 1/4 mile times in you sig from runs at an actual track, or are they from a G-Tech, etc? Your times seem pretty quick for 283rwhp in such a heavy vehicle.
You are probably on the leading edge of 3rd gen Dakota performance mods and I, for one, really appreciate the fact that someone has taken the time and put the effort into finding out the performance potential of these trucks. I have never owned a vehicle with so little aftermarket performance support. My previous truck, a 2000 Ford Lightning, ran a 13.110@105mph with only a plug-in chip and CAI, so I've been more than a little underwhelmed by my Dakota's perforformance (see best track time in sig). Granted, my Dak wasn't broken in when I took it to the track, so perhaps it has gotten quicker now that it has some miles on it (just about ready to hit 7,000 miles).
Anyway, congrats on the dyno numbers - that's a huge gain compared to some of the stock numbers I've seen.
