That's hard to believe I don't want to start something but I have the same truck as you and I'm pretty sure I can't beat out any of the 5.9 r/ts let alone mustangs.... Unless your on the bottle, only way .....

 

I said LT1 not LS1... theres about 100 horsepower difference between those motors, I don't think I could touch a LS1. haha guys don't lose faith in our little 4.7 motors! the old 5.9 trucks made 250 horsepower. with a few bolt on mods we can move on them pretty good. and na I don't have any spray. I did at one time have a 50 shot but I took it off for fear of tearing something up

 

I'm not particularly on here to brag about my own accomplishments, I just more or less wanted to hear what you guys have done. Granted our trucks weren't made to be full on race machines but these 4.7s have some kick to them... I think they have real potential, like for example that AirRam guy, he has one in a full size 4 door ram that runs low 9s in the 8th mile. And you know our Daks are lighter by far.

i have a one off custom SCT tune and im not anywhere near that.. i have if not more bolt ons then you do, which R/T do u have the crew or the quad cab?

 

No way you beat a mustang GT with those times lol. I had a Modded MKV GTI and Modded Eclipse GT and I was really big in to racing till i got my truck I know pretty much what any car can run and you my friend did not beat a mustang
