oops now i understand....so everybody should do the tie rod flip trick on every lift kit 4wd and 2wd??? what size of drill bit is the perfect? not to go over and ruin the spindle?
its true i put my leveling kit in about 6 months ago and my ball joints are shot and my rack is getting messed up
I highly recommend you remove it. 2" is not worth the headache. This sounds very similar to my experience.
It's not just us. Join any truck forum, ford, chevy, etc. Leveling kits are just not a true lift, and address none of the issues that they create. 2" of lift is not within "factory spec" as the leveling kit manufactures try to claim. Displacing a strut 2" is a huge deal, and will cause issues down the road.
The leveling kits really don't make the truck anymore capable either....it actually makes it less capable.
Body lift and larger tires are the only safe way to go for these trucks..
hmmm reALLy?????? i was just waiting to by new struts to put mine in but now im not sure so i guess i gotta couple of paprer weights unless i can sell it on kijiji damn i dunno if i would feel right though
