combine lift kit 2,5 + 2???
#2
Yes, it can be done.
Someone did it on this site a few years ago. They got about 3.5" of lift up front, and they put 3" blocks on the rear. I don't know HOW they got 3" blocks back there because the main brake line going to the rear axle just makes it with 2" blocks when fully extended.
IMO a 2" spacer is terrible on the front end....I can only imagine 3.5" or so.... I don't even know how he got the struts back on the truck to be honest, lol.
Your CV's will get raped on a daily basis, and your tie rods will be in a terrible position, most likely causing steering issues, fast.
My opinion? Think 2" max.
But it has been done successfully.

You must be mistaken, the tie rod should be under the lower control arm, with the bolt and nut on top.
I forgot to say, if it's a 4x4, you cannot combine kits, the cv's simply cannot make it, they will pull apart.
In all honesty, 1.5"-2" if the most you can lift the front reliably, and for that, look to the Trail Master leveling kit.
If you have a 2wd you can combine kits, but coming from experience I am telling you your tie rods and rack will be toast fast, as well as your upper ball joint.
Be smart about it. What good is a boat load of suspension lift if it makes your truck weaker and less capable? Nothing cool about that...
