i have a 2in above strut that i added too, around 1 more inch of lift, no problems yet, but i dont have a whole lot of miles either, i guess if anyone has troubles, it should be me, with the big spacer and the 33x12.50's, AWD, and sees a lot of off road, i guess we will just have to wait and see, but it dont bother me to much, just replaceable parts, and something i am willing to deal with, but to me, the angles dont seem all that bad...
ALSO: the c/v's wont pull apart, the upper a-arm will hit the spring and limit suspention travel before the c/v will pull apart, but its not very much past that point and they will seperate, (i think about 3/4 in more movement)

Ah yeah, the upper control arm swinging into the spring.....hell of a limiter lol.
With 2 kits installed, the upper control arm will probably allow around 2" of suspension travel before contacting the spring lol.
I think you have about the best looking truck on here, honestly those bumpers are great. Keep us posted on reliability.

In all honesty, wouldnt it be pretty easy for you 4x4 guys to create a diff drop for the front end? Aren't the mild diff drops usually only little puck spacers? Plus, I think there are some options for tie rod ends as well, the easiest being flipping the end. You would figure doing those two things, would allow your front end to run 3.5" of lift with two leveling kits, the TM, and a Daystar/autospring/CCM

The other type of kits, like daystar, that mount of top of the strut, actually lowers the entire strut in its frame perch. This type of lift is created by actually lowering the strut. the problem with this is, once your suspension fully extends, it expands 2" or 2.5" farther then it was designed. This pins the upper control arm againts the coil spring, and makes it the limiter. This could shorten that ball joints life. Also, it puts the inner tie rod ends in a taxing position.
So if you have the TM kit installed as a pre-loader, I really would not worry, unless you are starting to have problems. I know of a few guys on here that have the pre-load TM setup, and they have yet to report a problem.
