truckcustomizers is where I got mine. If you become a fan on facebook, every once in a while they will put up coupon codes. I got mine shipped last year in March for $285 and it was to my door in 3 days.

Thats what I paid for mine at the All Truck Nationals show in Carlisle, Pa and I thought it was a steal. Of course it was right after they were released too.

I was really expecting close to 250 rwhp vice the 215-225 I've been seeing in the dyno sheets. Even the Superchips 93 octane tune only managed 236 rwhp.

why not just get a 08 4.7 an drop into the 05's, are the electrical an computer hook up's different?

I only ever worked on the older chevy 327/350's know nothing about the Dodge's, only know a little now I own one. Not sure I would work on one with all the computer stuff an all.

I'm quite sure it can be done with SCT tuning. Two things are keeping me from doing that.

1. Low dyno numbers for the 08+ 4.7L
2. More aftermarket support for the old 4.7L.

I was really thinking about making the swap until I started collecting dyno sheets.

I've been up to SC in Sanford, Fl. a time or two, but not in a few years. I have no idear how accurate their current claims are, BUT I can say that back when I went to a few events there that their numbers were right off the dyno and measured at the rear wheels, NOT THE CRANK, and if anything were a little on the conservative side...

No doubt man. I've seen three dyno sheets now for the 08 Ram 4.7L and the 214-225 is super low considering it's rated at 310 crank.
