Mitsu, I am very pleased to see the progress. Things are looking really good. When you get the SAFC wired up, you will be amazed at the easibility of tuning.

Start with your idle (under low throttle position map). Get your mixture to somewhere in the 13:5 - 14:0 neighborhood. What ever your percentage of fuel was that you took away, mirror that across the rpm range + 1%, for now. You don't have a datalogger, so you will want a buddy with you for the next part. Find yourself a back road (that is flat, not uphill) and start tuning your low throttle stuff here. For your high throttle map, (don't change the TPS percentage split, yet) go to the dyno for about 30 min of tuning. This way, you can dial in your TPS percentage while having the A/F ration logged over the rpm range. This will make your tuning time a fraction of what it would be on the street, since you don't have a logger.

what map sensor are you using? I bought the srt-4, and it seems like a direct plug and play, its worrying me that its so easy.

I haven't switched map sensors, I can't without a SCT flash.

Or of course a stand alone.

How much did the srt-4 map sensor cost you?

rockauto.com is the place to go, for any parts. Got one for about 30$. not sure why people spend twice that on aftermarket ones when the stock srt-4 map is a 2bar and perfect for f.i. applications where the sct is utilized

started her up today. OIL LEAKS. ha, at the sending unit, at the check valve for the feed line just before the turbo, and both an- fittings going into the scavenger pump. It was too rainy to bother fixing them, hopefully tomorrow is a sunnier, dryer day. Got to think of a better spot for my gauges, any suggestions, I wanna stay away from the a-pillar, i think thats cheesy looking. She sounded like a freight train; open exhaust with a whistley woosh sound. More updates tomorrow as I fine tune and tweek everything. Got an exhaust leak somewhere it sounded like and my damn power windows stopped working, like wtf!

i have oil pressure, boost, and a/f gauge, Id need three. Hemifever sent me a base tune for my turbo just to get it running. Im gunna give him my a/f ratio from the wideband once I actually stop the oil leaks and drive it...thenhe can use that to give me a more personal tune
