My turbo does a good job of muffling, it's no louder than a 40 series Flowmaster except for WOT, granted I still have a cat.

 

Mine is super loud, for me atleast. Hit 5psi today, truck never felt so fast. Hit a slight hiccup when the bung I made to go into the egr port of my 08 intake manifold blew out....the truck accelerate and wouldnt decelerate. Talk about ***** in my throat. Scary.

 

That is great news, just wait until you hit 14-15psi.

 

Id have to do some engine mods to hit 15 psi

 

Blown was boosting 15 psi with a superchargeron the same 4.7.

I believe his engine was stock.

yes billy had stock internals other than cams while running 14psi....but then again, no one is as crazy as blow287.

IMHO, Hemifever is the man. I had a street(safe) tune, dyno dune and Race tune (WOT) all loaded onto my SCT.

Richie did it first, but his was an H.O. Motor, lol. Mine was just a regular 4.7L.

Later I upgraded to beehive valve springs and cometic head gaskets but I pulled down 11-15 psi for about three years before blowing a head gasket. I drove it hard, just ask Winston or Travis, lol.
