Question....
Wen I replace my differential cover wat fluids should I use to refill?

Don't have my truck with me, but what does it say to use in the owners manual?

75W-90 if you have 3.55 gear ratio on the 9.25 axle. I recommend Mobil 1!

75W-140 for the rear, the 75W-90 is whats called out for the front...

Don't forget the limited slip additive if you have the posi rear end.

I got the wrong info here somewhere then..no problems with what I'm running though. I tried to look it up yesterday and found guys on Ram forums who run 75W-90 on both despite what the manual says..oh well

Its all good man. I know gear oil is gear oil and I cant imagine what the slight difference would be under normal, non towing use either

I don't tow with this truck and I don't offroad either. I'm not worried haha but when I do peel out of streets and what not I can notice the difference Posted a pic in the Photo Thread of some nice tire marks

75-140. I ran royal purple. 2 quarts filled it perfectly.
