I would reccomend to them that they discontinued the flashpaq for the TCM controlled vehicles and only offer the Cortex to TCM supported vehicles and since the Cortex is higher priced, give the trans support for free with the cortex purchase. This would keep their price similar to Diablo and give the customers a more modern/update lookin tuner IMO AND have more control than Diablo at the same time.
I think keeping the Flashpaq's for the older non-TCM supported vehicles is perfectly fine. This would reduce store inventory as well instead of having 2 tuners for the same vehicle.
Also, allow previous flashpaq owners to do the update for the nominal $40 fee.
That's what i would do, but It's not my decision. i can only make the suggestion.

the older flashpaqs like the 3815 cant handle the new update. the memory cant take it. the newer 3865 is much faster but otherwise the same plus more memory. the Cortex offers the warranty which is why it cost more but other than that is the same as the cortex. it gives the buyers more peace of mind with buying a tuner to modify there vehicles if the company offers a warranty on that vehicle.
I understand why there charging for the update. and I agree with it. it could be alot more though, with all the functions we will be able to do with it, they could have charged $80 and people still would be buying it like crazy.

i dont think so. youd be better of trying to sell yours to someone with an 03 hemi and buying a new flashpaq or cortex.

They're still doing the upgrade. It's $150 for the trade. You have to buy the tuner through Superchips. You could also try to sell it on the forums and purchase one. You'll make out a little better that way.

$399.99 direct through Superchips for the Cortex 3950. $359.99 for the Flashpaq 3865.
