Truckin, did you have to sell any new parts that you never got to install? I remember you saying something during a TOTM (I think) about having new parts waiting for install.

Yes unfortunately, I had to get rid of my Viper E-fan, 2/4 drop, rear flip kit and caltracs. It sucks but I guess they don't like it when you make $35000 more than you did the previous year and for what ever reason your wifes old job never took out taxes for almost a year. Didn't have to get rid of all of it though...

I have 4.56's. Mind you my truck is a 2500. My last run was 9 to 60 but that was with a dragging wheel bearing (didn't know at the time) and spun a bit off the line that time. I think my truck weighs like 7k though so that might have something to do with that.

Well I tried again today and am pleased to say I broke into the seven range.

Times last post #96 was
0-40 4.36
0-50 5.74
0-60 8.39

Today I tried lowering the shift point to allow the tuner to reduce 1-2 and 2-3 WOT and that gave me an 8.59 with OD off, then tried 4wd launch and got the same 8.39.

I re-tuned again to where i had it the other day and by that time the truck was warm at 190 degrees. I only did one more run (same flat spot on the highway again) but in 4wd Hi and got the following data.

0-40 4.45
0-50 5.82, and drum-roll
0-60 7.97

So a little bit happier. A combination of warmed up truck and 4wd helped me break into the seven range at the 60 mark but slowed the other 40 and 50 timings.

lowering the shift point
Sorry I meant the Rev Limiter RPM amount that caused tuner to lower the shift rpm.
