where to mount my cb?

Default where to mount my cb?

looking for a good spot to mount my cb not allot of places in my regular cab truck.. where have you guys mounted them?

i've seen them mounted like this but then its really unconfortable for a person sitting in the middle- but if thats not an issue for you its a good idea

I actually mounted mine in the center console. The one I had fit right in there and I just ran the antenna wire under the rear tray and out the back window. For power i went to radio shack and bought this piece that you just put in the power and ground wires into it and it made it a plug for a cigarrete lighter, not sure if your center consule has one or not but mine does so it made it super easy.

Center console is good, or pick up an overhead shelf to put it on...

That's where I put mine (don't mind the dirty truck, it was winter)
I like the spot, my knees don't hit it at all and I'm 6ft also its easy to use when driving once you memorized your radio.

I have the same radio as senomar and i mounted it on the front of the glove box, and mounted the mic holder on the blank spot next to the ac controls, havent had any issues

looks good thanks guys... since were on the subject of cb's where are or how are you guys mounting your antennas.. i have thought of a mag mount but worries me that some one could steel it.
