Default 06 dodge 1500 SAS (Project little goat)

back in august i decided i wanted to do a project i have always been wanting to do a SAS so i choose to do one after asking for some tips on pirate 4x4 and them being jerks i decided to do the job by myself with no help. I didnt want to go with a linked suspension so i went with leaf springs dont ask me why i just wanted to.

For a month i gathers parts:
-Chevy 10bolt axle that a friend gave me
-07 dodge 3500 gear box from ebay
-Chevy 8in front leaf springs from skyjacker
-Reid flat top knuckles from WFO concepts
-Hi- steer arm from WFO concepts
-U bolt kit from WFO concepts
-28in universal 3an brake lines from WFO concepts
-Shackle and shackle mounts from Sky Manufacturing
-Shock hoops from sky manufacturing
-6 lug to 5 lug spindle conversion kit
-Slotted brake rotors
-Tie rod and drag link kit with heim joints from ballistics fab
-2 Bilstein 5150 front shocks from all-shocks
-2 Bilstien 5125 rear shocks from all-shocks
-10in rear atlas springs i miscalculated by 3in so had to put a block
-Sway bar kit from offroad engineering
-Steering stabilizer 2 bilstein 5100 11in travel from top gun customz
-Sway bar endlinks parts from ballistics fab
-42in goodyear mtr kevlar tires from 4 wheel parts

very sweet, I am jealous. Seems like a lot of work. How does the hemi handle the 42's? And where are you located? JW ( )

Doe you have the front drive shaft hooked up? I can't tell from the pictures.

Nice work! But why the 10 bolt axle? With tires that big wouldn't you want to go for a 1 ton axle?

That huge lift makes those massive tires look tiny! get a pic next to a stock truck or something. Nice work!
