i would also like to hear a sound clip of the gale banks exhaust system, not too many people said much about it, but what they did say was good.

 

what can i do for a hemi with mds? i want it to be LOUD and rumble very nicely, a nice sounding exhaust system thanks guys

 

I called Banks today and they said it should produce 15 hp and 15 lbtq, but other upgrades will make the numbers differ. They also said that the exhaust has a nice throaty sound to it. I think in the near future i will be buying a catback system from banks..

 

I have an 04 dodge ram, single cab, hemi, 2WD. I have a cold air intake with a superchips. I called a muffler shop today to get some thoughts about dual exhaust, and he told me I have to run a muffler, or I'll lose 25HP. Because i'm wanting to just run straight pipe after the cats. Does anyone have a truck with just straight pipe after the cats? Just wondering if you lost performance. (I'm not worried about noise, this is my toy and not a daily driver)

I think I'm going to order the banks for my 07 hemi today.. I'll let you know how it sounds.. I think it's the best bang for your buck.. I hope I like to live on the edge lol

 

I would consider the Cherry Bomb Extreme mufflers. IMO, best bang for the buck!

I just had my Cherry Bomb Extreme installed today, and I absolutely love it! When I had my Charger, I put Flowmaster 40s init, and my Cherry Bomb Extreme sounds better than those did! AND I hear almost no drone in the cab!

I got mine from MRC Performance. I hope it gets here today. LOL we should have worked a deal with on of the two guys for buying two.. oh well yeah this weekend is going to be great I got the banks coming, K&N kit to insatall. ST. Padys day and a Pens game. What more could a guy wish for.. lol I'll let you know what I think of the exhaust kit...

 

okay, good luck let me know how it was to install its seems straight foward and simple but i guess ill find out. stinll waiting for mine to come in tho . I already have the K&N CAI love the sound at WOT!! LOL good luck
