has anyone thought of running a bassani exhaust system on their dodge. i have an 07' hemi megacab 4x4. i'm looking for something a little different than flowmaster. i had an 03' dodge 1500 w/ 4.7 and put the gibson super sport truck on that exits in front of the rear wheel. lots of incab resonance. great tone when getting on it though. i have also heard that flowmaster had to make a muffler specific for the hemi other wise it would kill the gpm? well your opinons will be greatly appreciated. thanks for the help. oh any sound clips of exhaust other than flowmaster will be helpful in me making my decision. thanks

I removed the stock muffler and put a 3 in. straight pipe put in its place and put a 4 in slash cut tip on. I'll be removing one of the resonators as well. It sounds badass now but removing one of the resonators will be the icing on the cake. I'll put on a set of longtubes as well and the exhaust will be done.

Installer left all of the factory pipe from header to Flow master. This changes sound a little outside and in cab. Did it on Sat. for $350.00 cash.
I just had a Flowmaster 50 Series installed on my '05 4.7 L with rolled-edge stainless-steel tips, with custom-bent pipes and everything welded and hung with heavy-duty hangers. Very nice job and paid $351.00. He also left the factory pipe up to the muffler.

It might not be loud enough for some, but it sounds great to me. Lots of deep, growling rumble.

Dont choose Banks Monster exhaust. I made my first post ever on this site https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen-ram-tech/174390-banks-monster-exhaust-was-the-worst-decesion-i-have-ever-made.html just to warn people how bad they are.

Got around to posting the video of my exhaust. 05 qc 4.7 cai, with super 44 si,so dumped before rear axle. I wanted deep rumble and not a raspy loudness. cabin drone is minimal at most and at any speed. First one is just sittin in my driveway and revved to 3 grand, and the second is start and pull from in cab with widows down. third is just my puppy tebow. I admit that to fully get the jist of the deep bello you should listen to it on a comp with a subwoofer!

Next up superchip and cai. One thing though it didnt improve my mpg, it made it worse and I think I lost a little of my takeoff speed/power which is odd, hoping that improves on chip and cai installation

Did it fit ok? I don't know why they don't show them for the 08's. I am looking at the 16700 for my 08 2wd.

You know, it's kinda depressing. I ordered an AT3030 back in early/mid September, and I'm STILL waiting for it. Managed to get ahold of the company and was told they'd be on back order until some time in November. Reading about other people getting their exhausts just makes the wait all that much more of a pain in the butt you know? haha

there exhaust sounds great.. not overloud but around the 3000 rpm's its got the wicked dodge rumble. I found the dual extreme for just under $400 on the net. It's not the stainless but I dont need nuttin flashy under my truck. The exhaust should last as long as I own the truck.
