where did ya'll mount your amps?
I forgot to mention that when I installed my box, I put a spacer underneath the seat to raise it about an inch (maybe1.5"). That will give a little more clearance and airspace for the amps.
It will also give a little more clearance for the subs, which may be needed depending the box design. You definately want to have enough space to where the subs do not touch anything during their excursion.
Again, I will be doing some work to the system this week, so when I have everything out, I will load pics.

OK...got the back seats out... Haven't taken any pics yet (I will not let the first pics of my truck that I upload to this forum show my truck torn apart, like it is now) but when I get everything mounted back up, before I put the seats back,I will upload them.
I knew there was another piece to this puzzle that I was forgetting. Behind those seats and the foam, there are 2 vents (which I think regulate in-cab air pressure) that provide a fair amount of circulation, especially when thetruck is moving.

OK!!! Finally got the pics on the computer (that was a project itself). This is the wall that my amps are mounted. As youcan see, I have removed the foam and board from back there and layed dynamat (FatMat to be specific. Works well and is ALOT cheaper..use it to do everything and get some Extreme to cover problem spots & doors) You can see the vents that I mentioned above in these pics too. Anyone know exactly what these are for...HankL? Anyone?

And here you can see the amps mounted on the wall with the subs in place. This truck is HUGE when there are no seats in it...wait...it is huge when there are seats in it....nevermind!
BTW: I have had really good luck with this box that I got from ebay. I perfer 10" subs for the extra punch (and these w6's can do things most 12's can't)
