2005 Ram Front End Rattle/Clunking (AT LAST FIXED TODAY)
seeing that they don't mind putting parts in it, after they put the rack and the steering column in it that isn't going to fix it why don't you get them to throw sway bar links in it to fix this problem.
UPDATE,
They still have no clue what it is, they ARE NOT going to replace the Rack and Pinion system at this time and are leaning toward some secondary shaft in the steering column. They are on back order so they are hoping to see the part next week some time he hopes. This is getting very old, the truck will have been in the shop for over a month off and on for this same issue and this is the5th time. I'm thinking if they don't fix it this time, I will lean toward the lemon law and just have them pay me for the truck and I will find an used 07 or 08 with the same mileage.
Thank you all again very much for all the input since this message was posted. I will let you all know what the out come is

After seeing that you leveled the front, thats probably the problem. I leveled min and I have the same problem. It has something to do with the stock geometry of the suspension is whacked now.How long after leveling it did it start happening.
Ok I put my truck up on the lift today at work and I have found many things not very tight. I have found fourbumper bolts loose on the right side of truck. Four out of eight body bolts loose. The only ones that where tight where the body bolts that hold my running boards on. Trans cross brace where not tight and the cross brace under the engine was not tight. I all so found under the hood in front of the radiator there is a cross brace that was looses. I would say on average I had to go between two to four turns on each. But when I left work my truck felt great I heard no noise and my truck felt new again. If this does fix the noise I will tell the Dodge Dealer they should make there guys go over all the nuts and bolts when people bring there trucks in!! Because I feel like they just blue me off andI am not happy about it.
