Default 4.56 owners...come on in....

what was ur best kill....aka...race...I do not approve of street racing but I just got the itch the other night when a brand new tundra pulled next to me revvn' up and inching.....i hit the gas when the light turned green....and them 22's he had on there must of really hurt him cuz I know they have 4.88 gear ratio in them from factory....but I had atleast a truck length on him untill he gave up. lol....alot of people underestimate a gas truck lifted. Especially these diesel guys....the best thing about changing my gear ratio out is that no one expects it cuz no one does it due to labor prices i guess. Im still waiting on a diesel boy to try me chipped or not....most of them only have wat...4.10's? I think I could givem a good run..lol how bout you all??? best kill?

I have 3.92's, but today a guy in a 5.7L GTO ( 05 maybe?) was acting a fool on the freeway. So when we got off and got onto the next street at about 20mph he kicked it an I did too, just for the hell of it, and when I hit second, I actually started pulling away from him. After about 3 car lengths, I let out and he wouldn't get back up by me again.
The Hemi did me proud.
The GTO had a nice rumble to it, but just couldn't get the job done today

I believe that my truck had 4.56 gears installed in it by the previous owner. My build sheet says 3.92, but I rap out at 2000 @ 70 mph on interstate.
But so far, I haven't raced anyone in my truck. My truck also doesn't seem quick enough, I don't know if it's fluids, or what, but it's kinda doggy. So if it can be quicker, hopefully I'll be able to tell you a story of mine.

I also agree that trucks should be tested on the dirt rather then on the pavement BUTTT...i would love to race a chevy or toyota off the line one day. I think id have the 4.56 upgrade already if the price tag wasnt so heavy, id rather invest in tires first.

$195.29 at 4wheelparts.com

butttt, you have labor and what not so yeah. Plus the added cost of switching out the diff if you want something that won't randomly break on you.
