A little, do it when the tranny is cold. Thread the sender in to the adapter first. Then pull the plug on the test port and swap it out real quick! You'll only need one paper towel if you're fast!

ok great i havent done anything like this before. i dont want to mess up my tranny lol i still have to get those parts for the sender. you need to do this mod so you can make a video of it haha
I'm anxious to see how you make out, my pod is installed with the gauge in it, but the sensor and wire is tie wrapped inside for now. I was set to drop the pan and tap a hole, as I was told by 2 performance shops I'd have to do, but have hesitated because my tranny fluid ain't even 10k old and is synthetic, not cheap!!!
My only question is why would a couple of performance places not know about doing it this way?
