I just saw something today that i thought was weird, i would appreciate it if someone can verify it on their Factory Remote Start Ram.
When i remote start the Ram and unlock the doors the passenger power locks switch is LIT but the window one is OFF, on the driver side everything is OFF. Doesn't make much sense ?
Thanks
Pete

Alpheus, the reason i ask is because my truck got badly broken into last week and they replaced the interior panel and glass.
That being the case, everything is possible.
I am sorry if my question is unusual, but i don't think its hard for someone with remote start to take 2 min and check it.

No Problem Alpheus.
So my observations this morning where as follows. I turned on the Truck using the remote start followed by unlocking the doors and getting in. At this time the only light that are on is the one on the front passenger power door lock switch & the interior dome lights.
When i insert and turn the ignition key, the dome lights dim and the rest of the doors switches illuminate.
So the lights do come on eventually ?

what type of remote start is this..i know my remote start use to flash my lights and i decided to bring it in to circuit city a while ago and have them cut the wire that caused the lights to flash. The dome lights coming on could just be from when you opened the door unless you noticed them on before you got in your truck?

My truck came with remote start from the factory, so I am assuming its the original mopar unit.
The dome lights aren't really the issue. My question is in the bahvior of the lighted switches (ie power locks, windows).
If u have the mopar one aswell..
Remote start ur truck, unlock it and get in, before u put ur key in note which lights and switches are lit, that would be great.
