Does your cai have a heat shield? That's a great place to mount the bottles.

Here is the MarkVIII frame. It covers the radiator top to bottom and side to side. It's made from 1.5" aluminum angle. The cutout is where my tstat probe was located.

you might be right frog, i would have to take the shroud off and see how much room I have. Also the fans I am looking at on Ebay dont have the metal housing they are plastic, did you put yours on or did it only come on certain years? Here are some photos of what I got.

The bracket is what I used to mount it to the radiator. There are two holes i the top and bottom of the radiator. I just drilled brackets to match those holes and bolted it in. You can cut the aluminum with a hacksaw.

They are good, viable alternatives. But don't forget, for you guys with doubts about being able to fab something up, that the Flex-A-Lite and Viper alternatives are out there. Obviously a bit more money, but they bolt right up to to factory shroud and can be purchased with everything you need, right down to an optional dash-mounted on/off switch to override the temp probe.
Not trying to sway anyone whose looking to do the Ford fans, just pointing out ALL the available options...

Anybody sized up a 08-09 Grand Caravan fan? They switched to a larger single fan in 08 vs a dual fan set-up on my 07. I haven't really looked at my dad's 08 to see what it looks like other than I noticed it was single.
