Will flowmaster Void Warranty??

Default Will flowmaster Void Warranty??

i bought a flowmaster kit for my 07 1500 and before i install it was wondering if it will void the lifetime powertrain warranty... i've also been told it can mess with the mds???

It will sound like crap when the MDS engages.
It will only void the warranty on the factory exhaust that you replace unless they can prove that the modification caused whatever failed to fail.

i can get around MDS engaging by running with Tow/haul on right?

Yep. On the highway it might not be so bad, but in town it sounds like a sick helicopter or something
I need to turn mine back on to see how it sounds with the Magnaflow cat-back. Crappy I'm sure!!

cool. i dont think it will be much of a problem for me anyways, i dont think i use the mds at all the way i drive. lxman i see u have the orange truck too... i had an 02 dodge and loved it, then i drove by the dealership and saw the 07 i have now in the sunburst orange and drove it away the next day.

Yep. I love it. Very few around here and very few on the forum as well. Only available on QuadCab trucks according to my brochure. Not on std cab or MegaCab. Liked it so much the wife got a 09 Caliber in the same color.

Trust me once you get rid of that huge muffler and the resonators you are gona hate the MDS!


It will slowly start to bother you more and more until you finaly give up and buy yourself a tuner.

If you remove your cats, then the Dealer will try and void anything engine related. Total BS. Just a catback(muffler), no problemas at all.
