That's not a real Daytona. It's 4wd. Did they even have those packages available to buy or were they dealer added?

None the less. it's very nice...Clean. So is the silver one.

I just missed out on a 4x4 daytona orange quad cab 2005 at my local dealership. It was authentic and everything.

What makes them Authentic? because the dealer ordered that to be installed on the truck?
makes no sense for any 4wd to be on the track let alone a QC.??? If so, that's pretty poor and it means Chrysler would make just about anything to make a $Buck$. i know some Man. do that a lot. Cheby does that all the time. they come up with these Hokey packages that are almost pointless.

From what I read and the dealer told me they have the numbered plates on the dash that were a one time production run. I assume that they just added some dumb features like leather and that wing, put the # plate on and jacked up the price. I had a shelby daytona from the late 80s that was #'md and that was basically the same story. People will pay extra if they think they have something that is rare and more special then a comparable model.

i never was a fan of the wing either. and i beside a few body mods i dont know what makes them different. i would mind having the side skirts though. i like the 2nd gen a lot.

I think the daytona would look good with just the dayton paint job, no decals or wing and it would be a nice looking truck.
