Default 1500 vs 2500 Quad Cab Size

I am in the market for a Dodge Ram 1500, looking at the 2009 options there is a true Crew Cab, which has a more interior room and a little less bed. But the only problem is, realistically I will most likely be going with an 07' or 08' preowned truck.

Both my father in law and brother in law own 2500 Quad Cabs, I have rode in the back of both. The question is, does the 2500 have more interior room especially in the rear than the 1500 in the 07' or 08' models or are they the same size. From the outside looking in it appears they are the same size, but I don't know. Does anyone know.....

Same size unless comparing to a Mega Cab.

Same size and unless you have passengers in the back frequently and they are adults, then the Mega cab would be the way to go, otherwise, there's lots of room in the Quadcab. Especially compared to other trucks like ferd or cheby. Those are just tiny.

Okay, so when I ride in the back of these 2500s I should expect the same amount of room from a 1500 quad cab correct.

When you are speaking of other makes and models as far as your you are comparing their extended cab to the quad cab right? The Crew Cab would be comparable is room to a Ford or Chevy four door, right?

Same exact cab 1500/2500/3500

Dodge QuadCab vs F-150 Ext. Cab= Dodge wins

The specs are all over the place. Hit up edmunds and they can give you exact volume and measurements.

One more thing for clarification and then I will visit Edmunds.

The Ford Crew Cab is Larger than the Dodge Quad, but the same size if not a tad smaller than the Dodge Crew, correct?

I just want to make sure I have this right.

Can't help ya. Why not visit Edmunds Before asking any further questions. Why make others do it for you? We are Dodge guys. We don't own Ford nor look at them so it's apples to oranges for most of the crowd.
