Cool Did we just make a huge MISTAKE... please help

Last week we purchased a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn Hemi- and while the truck is absolutely beautiful, I can't help but feel sick.. the truck is riding rough... almost like a bounce... it does have the 20" wheels... of course it is out of warranty..has new tires and has been balanced and been back to the dealership... my question is/ is this a common problem for the truck.. is there any thing I can do to help this problem.. traded in a Ford explorer and I hope I just did not waste my money... VERY FRUSTRATED!!!

Please help

start with the free stuff: hows the air pressure in the tires? what size are they? then, how are the shocks? sounds like one of those might solve the problem.

the tires are Goodyear Wranglers P275 60R20... the dealership said all was fine with the bearings and the tires and that type of stuff...

the dealerships will tell you what you want to hear. Does it "bounce" when going over a speed bump or pot hole in the road or just going down a flat smooth road?

And the tires balanced properly? What you are explaining sounds like your tires are separating internally??? Unless your u-joints are bad or your driveshaft is out of balance, there's not much that would cause that problem.

Have the rearend checked. A bad *****ed slip unit can cause issues too. Mine just started riding like it has mud terrain tires, a steady vibration in the pedal and steering wheel. The front end has cupped all 4 tires, so that could be it. I'm gonna take it to the dealer when I get a chance.

they have balanced them, and the tires are brand new.. put on today...it was worse before today, it has gotten a little better but still seems like it should ride better than that... I check about the u joints... and drive shaft... just trying to figure out if I have to live with it like this or are there other options.. I don't wanna have to pay for any of it.. only had it a week and 2 days... guess that's what I get for not buying an extended warranty..?!!!

Take it down to a discount tire and have them balance and rotate the tires. Sounds like something is off there.

Also dont trust the dealer, they screw with everyone.

Did you test drive it before you bought it?
