Sorry to hear about your truck though I am glad your OK.
I had something similar to this happen to me a few years ago but it got repaired and did not touch the frame- it was 10,000. worth of damage.

Man, what a vulture. I was going to try to get those if the were available

Glad your OK, It really sucks when some inconsiderate lowlife can't take a cab or get a ride from a buddy instead of risking countless lives. That was a good looking rig you had there. If it was me, I would hope it was totaled, I wouldn't want a vehicle that has had frame damage.
Take her *** to the cleaners and get you something really nice. Many states would classify that as attempted vehicular homicide now.

Thanks again for all the replies. I think I'm coming to terms that I may never drive her again. Oh well.

To be honest if they do total her it would be a good excuse to finally buy something a little more economical. My commute to work has been costing me a small fortune for a while now. Don't know yet. We'll see how things pan out when I find out what the insurance company's going to do.

Well, I really like my Wife's Caliber. It's peppy and good on gas. Gets around 23 in town and 32+ on the highway.
I have a truck to pull my 20ft car trailer. It weighs 2700# empty. If it wasn't for that, I would have gotten a smaller Dakota perhaps.
A new Challenger would look good on ya too

Looking at the pics again, it really doesn't look like the frame is hurt. The steps are still in the right spot, the wheels look lined up and the windshield pillar looks undamaged.
Might just be able to get a good cab assembly and swap the whole cab and replace the bed side. Hard to say for sure from the pics but it looks salvageable to me at this time.
