You walked away, hell, your drove away, that is what matters.

They will mot likely total that truck.

You mentioned a 4th GEN. If you are serious do searches now and call dealers close to you that has something you may be interested in. 09 is the last year for life time power train. So if you have to go 10 you get the standard 3/36.

There is a dealer in Toledo that does not sell much and has a few 09 QC and CC on the lot. It will be hard to find 09s due to the money the government was handing out and the stoppage of production this summer.

Alright, back at work so I can follow up. As far as pain goes, I'm actually feeling great. Still got a couple of bruises on my side, but really not sore at all. As far as the couple of comments about me driving it off, yes I did drive it to a nearby parking lot, but that is as far as it was going. Quarter-panels were digging into the tires. It had to be towed off.

They estimated $15,000 damage to the truck, and they are going to fix it. I'll be honest and say I'm a little disappointed as I spent the weekend looking at new trucks. I'm also one of these people that doesn't like to drive a vehicle that's been involved in a wreck to this magnitude. There's always underlying problems that you'll see down the road, and I plan to either trade it in or sell it when I get it back. Anyway I did test drive a couple of Ram's and Dakota's and even though I know I'll catch hell for saying it, I also test drove an F150, Tundra, and Tacoma. I always have to keep Ford as an option b/c I get the employee discount through my dad, not to mention when I bought the Ram he didn't speak to me for about 2 weeks lol. Right not still not sure of what I'm going to go with.

I will keep you guys posted on anything else that comes up... So far the lady's insurance has been pretty easy going with me. They set me up with a rental car, and I called them and requested a truck, and they switched it to a fullsize no questions asked. I'm driving a Tundra right now, stripped down basic model, but still pretty nice. They obviously want to make my life a little easier, still going over a couple more things, and I'm have a 2nd person look into the damages to make sure they didn't miss anything.

They are going to fix it???? Even with the frame damage???? I'd tell them to total it and give you the $15,000.

15k in damage and they're fixing it? that don't sound smart. I'd do what truckin said and just ask them for the 15K.

yea 15k will probably be more than what you could get if you tried to sell a truck that has a history of it being in a wreck

not even that, when it comes up that it had to have the frame straightened because of a wreck the resale value is going to tank because of the amount of damage that was repaired.

Yep, you guys are right, and chances are that's what I'm going to try to do tomorrow. After looking over kbb trade-in values, $15k would be more than what I'd get for it anyway. I want to get another estimate first, maybe I can get a little more out of it if I can show more damage than what their appraiser saw. Who knows...

Where do you guys see frame damage? It hit above the tube steps and above the frame. The suspension is still straight *** is the frame or the tube steps would be torqued.
Unless more pictures are posted, there is no sign of frame damage from the pics posted so far.

Did you see any Bwhite? I don't see any signs of it from the shots you posted.
