Those tires do look like they have descent life left to them but certainly not 80%. The angle of the penny shot should be from the side so you can see where the depth is on Lincolns head.
However, they certainly are worth $175 for 4 wheels/rims no doubt. If they are good for your application is another story.
My best recomendation is to put a few bags of tube sand in your bed over the axle and that alone will make a huge improvement in sloppy weather conditions.

Wooo there! Im a college student too. I paid for my truck and everything on it. Along with the gas, registration, and insurance. Don't you just hate seeing those kids who their parents buy them a brand new tahoe, then a month later it's their birthday and they get brand new 22" wheels and a system.
