Default Hi - Muffler shopping / First post

Hi all,

I just purchased a used 2004 Ram and two major things I would like to add to it is a muffler (not exhaust / cat) and some nerf bars.

I already have some SS nerf bars that I am going to get, but having a hard time on which muffler I should get for my truck.

Anyone here know if the Satin Stainless Steel/Magnaflow Performance muffler is any good?

Also not sure what size I would need.

Example:
Center/center
Offset / Center
Offset / Offset
Single / Dual
Then the: Inlet, outlet, thick, width, length, overall

Thanks for any input.
I came from a Subaru Forester XT and family is growing so I needed a truck

Thanks all for any help / info.

Thanks, this muffler does have the deep throaty sound?

Would it be louder then a Flowmaster 70-series.

I thought about putting a Magnaflow exhaust on my Dodge, but I honestly think Borla is the way to go. However, I guess it all depends on what you're going for. I wanted something that had low cab noise while still providing a roar when I got on the gas. I guess you could look on YouTube, but sometimes those vids don't do muffler sounds justice.

The best way to find the sound you like is to just find a truck around town that you like the exhaust note of and ask him what muffler he is running. Youtube is a good source too but the vids never really sound like the muffler in real life.
