Default How did you wire your electric cut out?

As the title states. Received the cut out from oe football (thanks again) just a few minutes ago so I'm just wondering for those of you with cut outs, how did you wire them? I'm not sure whether to strip the wiring and go to the battery or to just plug it in to a 12v outlet in the truck? Please post pictures if you got 'em! Would like to see pics of both install methods please!?

What kind of cutout do you have? For my DMH I have it running off the 12v source that used to be the cigar lighter.

Mine is like Teach has his. It is wired to the inside of the cab and connects to both the (+) and (-) on the back of the cig lighter in the center console

There are plastic plugs in the firewall that you can drill through and run the wires through. That is where mine come into the cab.

I have mine plugged into the cig lighter. I put the wire through the firewall hole that's covered with rubber plug<--located under the steering wheel, there should be a factory wire already coming from outside to the insde of the cab. It's easier to start the wire from the inside of the cab and lead it outside.
