hemi tick or is this worst sounds like a knock from bottem end passenger side

can hear knock at :21 real loud

 

yeah, got a slight Hemi tick goin on there, but very mild compared to mine. Mine is blatently clear.

 

Yea my truck does the same thing.

 

got it to go away for now

1 cup of sea foam in oil and a 10 min trip then changed it

sea foam + oil change + new filter = no hemi tick ( hopefully it wont come back anytime soon)

That is awful!!! I'm glad mine doesn't sound like that!!

 

I wouldn't ever be bothered by that sound, Everyone's so insane over a slight tick. lol. I know my truck ticks a tad in the cab but i don't believe its the engine directly.

 

thats what mine sounds like too...Mine sort of fades in and out sometimes...but its only at idle..and after u give it a little gas it goes away...

 

That isn't bad at all. Have heard trucks that sound way worse than that with the Hemi tick.

 

Mine was about like that from day one, always used Mobil 1, switched to Royal Purple and it got barely noticeable. After about two years of RP I used Valvoline full synthetic on my last oil change. Dealer was running a special, $17.95 for an oil change with a tire rotation and I was due, I called and asked about the price of a full synthetic and they said it'd be $20 more, so for $37.95 with a rotation I jumped on it. Within about 500 miles the tick was back about how it was originally...
